Dramatic waterfall cascading down green volcanic cliffs
“Standing in front of Sipiso-piso waterfall with zero crowds was a moment we will never forget. Boro’s timing is pure perfection.”
Chapter 1: The Thunder of Sipiso-Piso
Our morning started early from Medan. Boro paced our driving stops so we arrived at Sipiso-piso just as the morning fog cleared. Watching 120 meters of water plunge down a green volcanic gorge into Lake Toba below took our breath away.
The majestic plunge of Sipiso-piso waterfall.
Chapter 2: Samosir Cultural Traditions
On Samosir Island, Boro took us to Simanindo village where we watched a traditional Batak dance and listened to intricate wooden flute melodies. The warmth of the local villagers left a lasting impression on us both.
